The town of Silver Gate was founded in 1932 by John J. Taylor and J. J. White to serve the people visiting Yellowstone National Park. The original construction covenants for the town required log and rustic architecture only, which gives Silver Gate its very unique character.

Whether you stay a week or a day, you'll find no better place to relax and enjoy Montana at its best than in Silver Gate. Wildlife abounds in the area.
